Playing Golf With Pro Golfers - Advice From The Pros

AskGolfGuru shares practical advice for amateurs preparing to play in their first Pro-Am or round with professional golfers. He explains why maintaining your standard pre-shot routine is critical to managing pressure and avoiding over-analysis. The video also covers how to structure driving range practice with simulated course hazards to build confidence before the event.

• Stick to your normal pre-shot routine rather than taking extra practice swings or over-reading putts.
• Practice realistically on the range by simulating on-course hazards and playing target-to-target shots.
• Treat the Pro-Am as a fun learning experience and observe how professionals avoid compounding mistakes.
• Increase your practice frequency gradually in the weeks leading up to the event rather than trying to fix your swing on game day.
