Josh Oddy provides five technical tips and tricks for mastering the GS Pro golf simulator. The video covers essential calculations for bunker play, rough lies, environmental factors like altitude, side-slope aiming, and advanced green reading to help simulator golfers lower their scores.
In GS Pro bunkers, calculate the speed penalty (often ~30%) and add that yardage to your target to reach the hole.
For shots from the deep rough, account for the 'flyer' effect by planning for significantly less spin and increased rollout.
Use the '2% Rule' for altitude: for every 1,000 feet of elevation, the ball travels roughly 2% further.
To compensate for ball above or below feet, aim two yards offline for every one degree of side slope indicated.
When putting, move the aim line and observe the grid break at the beginning, middle, and end of the putt to find the true line.
