STOP Hitting Weak Golf Shots — This 2-Minute Drill CURES It
Kerrod Gray demonstrates a quick address adjustment to fix a weak grip and eliminate an open clubface at impact. By holding the club out, rotating the clubface down in the hands, and re-squaring it with forearm rotation, golfers naturally strengthen both hands and soften the trail arm for powerful, straight shots.
A weak grip orientation naturally leaves the clubface open at impact, causing a slice.
To strengthen your grip, hold the club in front of you and rotate the clubface slightly down in your hands.
Rotate your forearms to return the face to square, automatically placing both hands into a stronger position.
This position softens the trail arm at address and encourages proper body tilt for better driver performance.
