How to Judge Pace on Downhill Putts #golfswing #golftips
Me and My Golf instructors demonstrate a simple percentage-based system to master downhill putts. By gauging the slope and reducing the hit percentage accordingly, golfers can let gravity do the work and significantly reduce three-putts.
Use a percentage scale to determine how hard to hit downhill putts.
The more severe the slope, the lower the percentage of a 'normal' putt you should hit.
On very severe slopes, you might only need 20% to 30% of your usual effort.
The primary goal of downhill putting is to leave a tap-in and avoid the long comeback putt.
