How to Swing More From the Inside #golfswing #golftips
Piers Ward from Me and My Golf shares three fundamental steps to cure a slice by swinging more from the inside. The instruction covers creating trail-hip depth, achieving proper arm depth at the top of the backswing, and delaying torso rotation to naturally shallow the club.
Rotate deep into the trail hip to create necessary space for the arms to swing from the inside.
If hip rotation is restricted, flare the trail foot out or step it slightly back at setup.
At the top of the swing, the butt end of the club should ideally be positioned behind your heel line.
Keep your back to the target for a split second longer during the transition to help the club shallow onto the correct plane.
Avoid getting the hands in front of the toes at the top, as this leads to a steep, over-the-top downswing.
