Your Set Up Is Not One Size Fits All #golfswing #golftips
Me and My Golf explain why your setup should not be 'one size fits all' when switching between irons and drivers. They demonstrate how adjusting ball position, weight distribution, and hip tilt allows for a downward strike with irons and an upward launch with the driver.
Irons require a level hip setup with weight favoring the lead side to promote downward compression.
For drivers, move the ball forward in your stance and favor your trail side to encourage hitting up on the ball.
The driver setup should feature the trail hip lower than the lead hip, visualized easily with an alignment stick.
Hand position changes: Driver handles should be level with or slightly behind the clubhead, unlike the forward lean used for irons.
