In this instruction clip, Milo Lines explains how overusing the right arm during transition pushes it on top of the left arm, resulting in a steep downswing. By keeping the right arm relaxed and slightly under the left arm through transition, golfers allow the club head to shallow naturally and start the golf ball on an inside-out path.
Avoid powering the downswing transition by driving or pushing the right arm over the left arm.
Keep the right arm softer so it stays slightly under the left arm as you change directions.
Allow the center of mass of the golf club to shallow naturally behind you.
Use an alignment stick in front as a reference visual to practice starting the ball slightly right of the target.
