Grooming a Ferrari #champion #golf #collegegolf #wildbillmehlhorn #montesgolf@BEBETTERGOLF

In this lesson, Monte Scheinblum works with a high-level college golfer to refine their swing mechanics using the philosophy of golf legend Wild Bill Mehlhorn. The focus is on grooming the 'Ferrari' swing by optimizing leg action and lateral pressure shifts to improve impact consistency and power.

• Focus on the lead knee moving toward the target to initiate the transition.
• Prioritize a lateral pressure shift over spinning the hips too early.
• The 'Mehlhorn' leg work creates more space for the arms to drop into the slot.
• High-performance swings require precise 'grooming' of small timing elements rather than major overhauls.
• Athletic leg action is the engine of a powerful and repeatable downswing.
