Ladder Putting Drill with Jackie Beck LPGA #bettergolf #puttingdrills #womensgolf #golf101

LPGA instructor Jackie Beck presents the Ladder Putting Drill in partnership with PGA Women's Clinics to help golfers master speed control on the green. By hitting putts to targets set at increasing increments, players learn to match backswing length with distance and eliminate three-putts.

• Place tees or markers at incremental distances (e.g., 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet) on the practice green to form a ladder.
• Focus on adjusting the length of your backswing to control distance rather than changing your stroke tempo.
• Putt sequentially to each step on the ladder to build tactile feel for green speed.
• Work back down the ladder to reinforce stroke consistency across varying putt lengths.
