OVER THE TOP pull slice to SMASHED push draw In 10 minutes
PGA instructor Shawn Clement guides Terry through correcting a severe over-the-top pull slice into a compressed push draw. By strengthening the grip, lowering posture, and anchoring the head behind the ball, Terry learns to swing through an intermediate point to the right. The lesson demonstrates how letting momentum snap the clubhead inside-out drastically increases distance and compression.
Aim your target visualization slightly right of an intermediate point to force an inside-out swing path.
Strengthen your grip so the face is dynamically closed enough to eliminate the reflex to swing left across the ball.
Anchor your head behind the ball through impact to allow the shoulder to collect the head naturally after release.
Lower your posture and hand position at setup to create space for an inside attack angle.
Allow the lead arm to yield and supinate through impact rather than steering or guiding the club with muscle.
