This $1 String Will Fix Your Putting 😮🧵

Ian Poulter demonstrates a cost-effective DIY putting drill using a simple piece of string to perfect your start line. By setting up a taut line over a straight putt, golfers can ensure their eyes are positioned correctly and their putter face is square at impact.

• Use a string line to identify if your eyes are directly over the ball or slightly inside.
• The string provides an immediate visual feedback loop for your putter face alignment.
• Practice on a straight putt to ensure that any deviation is a result of stroke or alignment, not green break.
• Focus on rolling the ball directly underneath the length of the string to the center of the cup.
