Swing Analysis of recent PGA TOUR winner: Matthieu Pavon

Josh Koch of Hit Bombs provides an in-depth swing analysis of PGA Tour winner Matthieu Pavon. The breakdown highlights Pavon's unique 'trigger' sequence, his lateral hip movement, and how his specific setup matches his high-hands reroute to produce a reliable fade.

• Pavon utilizes a dynamic trigger sequence: loading the lead side followed by a lateral push that initiates the backswing.
• An arched lumbar spine (anterior pelvic tilt) at address can limit shoulder rotation and encourage lateral swaying.
• High hand positions at the top can be neutralized by a lateral hip shift and spine tilt, which helps drop the club onto a shallower plane.
• Golf success depends on 'matchups'; Pavon's leftward path is successfully paired with a more open clubface to prevent pulling the ball.
• A high rate of clubface closure at impact is often a byproduct of late-stage lateral movement stalling rotation.
