• Draw a line in the sand approximately one clubhead width behind the ball position.
• Practice making swings along the line, focusing on hitting the front edge or just past the line.
• Avoid entering the sand too early, which causes heavy, dead bunker shots.
• Once consistency is established on the line, place a golf ball and execute the same entry point to lift the ball out with spin.
