PGA Coach Chris Ryan conducts a live lesson demonstrating how maintaining proper spine angle and hip inclination leads to clean iron compression. He addresses backswing posture loss and fixes a weak lead hand grip to eliminate weak shots leaking to the right.
Maintain your spine angle and forward hip tilt throughout the backswing instead of standing up or turning flat.
Allow your trail leg to naturally straighten slightly as your trail hip turns back and up.
Correct a weak lead hand grip by rotating it more on top of the handle to improve face control.
Develop clubface feel by intentionally practicing right, left, and straight shot shapes.
