Jason Day on How to Flight Your Wedges #golf #thelads
PGA professional Jason Day demonstrates his technique for hitting penetrating, low-flight wedge shots. He explains how to use a specific clock system (8:00 to 10:00) while keeping weight on the left side to reduce spin and control the ball's apex.
Keep your weight 'left' (forward) to drive the ball down and lower the trajectory.
Use the 8:00 position for short, flighted shots (approx. 100 yards with a 52°).
Use the 9:00 position for mid-range flighted shots (approx. 110 yards).
Use the 10:00 position for longer flighted shots (approx. 120 yards).
Target a lower apex (under 50 feet) to take spin off and increase control in the wind.
