Watch / the bag template
Nobody builds a bag to win a debate. They build it to shoot a score — which makes these the most honest gear videos there are.
Each bag is read slot by slot, with the reason every club is in there.
The shape of it
A bag breakdown is the most honest gear content on YouTube, because nobody builds a bag to win an argument. They build it to shoot a score.
That's why these videos land differently from reviews. When H.I.T GOLF walks through Cam Smith's bag for 2026, the interesting part isn't the driver — it's the unbranded T350 3-iron he switches with a 7-wood so playing partners can't read his club selection, and the Ping 7-wood that's been in there for nearly ten years. No review would ever surface either.
The range runs from tour setups to the other end entirely: Sorta Like Golf hands his own bag over to be roasted, and MrShortGame Golf works through what a sensible bag setup actually looks like for the rest of us. Club Champion, Peter Finch Golf and Gaz's Golf all publish regularly here.
Every breakdown on this page is read slot by slot — driver through putter — with the loft and shaft where they're stated, the reason the club is in the bag, and a timestamp that jumps you to the moment it's discussed.

"What's In The Bag" — a run-through of every club a player carries, usually with lofts and shafts. We file them under In the bag and read each one slot by slot.
Both. H.I.T GOLF and Today's Golfer cover tour and celebrity setups, while creators like Sorta Like Golf and MrShortGame Golf break down everyday bags — including their own.
A review judges one product against its rivals. A bag breakdown shows what someone actually chose to carry across fourteen slots, which is a different and often more revealing question.
